In every walk of life, the world is changing faster than we think. Even the smaller nations are developing at an amazing pace. No doubt, information technology has accelerated this cycle. Only those nations develop who know what is happening around them. When we see Pakistan's huge media coverage of political, social and cultural events, it is regrettable to note that very limited material is found on technology that is badly needed for the progress of our country. Apprehending the need to fulfill this technological gap we decided to bring out monthly technology based magazine TECHNOBIZ.

As engines of modern societies, science and technology are fundamental to the intelligent management and use of natural resources, environmental stewardship and economic development - - in short - - they are essential to survive and hold a respectable status in the world. Unfortunately, Pakistan could not do justice with this vital subject in the past due to many reasons. At present we see, technology and applied sciences are borrowed or imported. Innovations are nowhere.

What has been done can not be undone. However, to see a better tomorrow, the training of next generation must be a prime focus. Education in mathematics, science and technology is crucial for the long term economic development of a nation, and for the future of its scientific enterprise, encompassing sectors such as industry, health, agriculture, civil infrastructure, and the researchers and technical workforce of the next generation.

TECHNOBIZ is not only limited to knowledge but also will play a vital role in upgrading of existing technologies with the new ones and in result will boost the images of Pakistan as a rising country.
